Changes to Northcrypto ownership

We are excited to announce changes to Northcrypto ownership.

              
Swedish company GreenMerc AB (publ) has acquired all shares in NorthCrypto Oy, meaning Northcrypto is now fully owned by Greenmerc. The prior shareholders of Northcrypto have joined as owners in Greenmerc.

Stockholm-based Greenmerc is a fintech company with the goal of combining traditional finance with digital assets. Currently, the main business is operating a Swedish cryptocurrency exchange Trijo. Since June this year, Greenmerc is listed on NGM Nordic SME  with the ticker GMERC.

Trijo, founded in 2018, is one of the biggest cryptocurrency exchanges in Sweden with 40 000 clients. The platform supports 280 cryptocurrencies, instant buys, limit orders and staking. Deposits via Google pay and Apple pay are supported as well.

We at Northcrypto believe working with Greenmerc will give us the tools to expedite our growth to become the leading crypto platform in Scandinavia. The ownership change has no effect on our existing products and operations. However, as a customer you can expect a broader selection of cryptocurrencies in addition to new functionalities in the near future.
